Three for the night
So, I have to listen to music at night in order to go to sleep. Some people have fans, (i do), some people have televisions on in the background, some people have certain positions... I have music to listen to. So, unfortunately, in a very OCD way, I make "lua mixes" to sleep to. Yeah. Shut up. Anyways, here are a random three from the current mix. (they change about every two weeks)
Where I End and You Begin by Radiohead - Yeah, it's got that midnight feel to it. It's dream-like itself. Though "pyramid song" is always a close second to it.
A Movie Script Ending by Death Cab for Cutie - Errbody seems to love Death Cab, especially since that OC episode or something. Anyways, anyone know if "Plans" is any good?
Mad World by Gary Jules - From that talking bunny movie or something. Just kidding. Donnie Darko soundtrack pick.
Fade Together by Franz Ferdinand - Yes, lately, I've been spinning "You Could Have it So Much Better". I really really really like it for some reason. Yes, i know it's a LOT like the last album. Yes, I know that it's sometimes a bit too jangly. But I don't care. It's great. And here is one of the three or four quiet numbers.

hi. plans is good, and even better to sleep to.
Listening to these songs has nearly put me to sleep, which in this case is a compliment. Thanks to Google, I was able to quickly determine that Tears For Fears originally did "Mad World" - I hate to think of the sleep I would have lost trying to figure that one out. "Fade Together" is lovely - I had no idea Franz Ferdinand even had quiet numbers. Thanks for enlightening me. But why are there four songs in this "Three for the night" post? Did you lose track of things while counting sheep?
good song choices. i've been obsessed with mad world but that's also one of the more depressing songs on my itunes...not that that it's bad thing.
cody - i will be checking out plans, hopefully getting it somehow tonight.
big bad bit - yes, it was a tears for fears cover, but i don't like tears for fears, so i didn't mention it. ha. and yeah... i noticed there is four tracks... listen, it was late that night.
lina - yes, it's pretty damn depressing. i'm glad you enjoyed the choices
