New Semester, new year, new worries

Getting back into the groove of good ol' college life. It's a fun time to be alive. And slightly hedonistic (fuck it, very hedonistic) but very enjoyable. While reading The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson, it all finally made sense. Like, perfect harmony. Live your life aaaaand make sure to enjoy it aaaand don't worry about chemical damage because we all die in the end. Very encouraging to us all. I suggest you read it.

Oh, and I really like this band that contacted me. They are called The Swimmers and they are oh so enjoyable. They really know how to pull me in with their happy vibes and bouncy sound, and everything really compliments each other. Vocals are dead on- a little high pitched, but nice and full. Not whiny like I can't stand, just good. They got their whole album streaming here and nifty myspace if you're into that. They're also touring, see if you can't catch them. Kind of hard to describe them, but I think you will like them. Catchy songs at that. Here's two off the album, they'll be up for a total of... 7 days. And a limit of 100 downloads. Werd.
